Former Security Executive Of Facebook Said, The Leadership Culture At Company, Is Like Game Of Thrones

A company’s working environment tells a lot of things about it, and recently ex-facebook security boss Alex Stamos said that Facebook’s leadership culture is similar to HBO’s show Game of Thrones. In a recent interview, Alex Stamos who was the former executive of Facebook’s security department said some shocking things about Facebook’s leadership culture. While giving his interview, Alex mentioned that Facebook’s high-level management team reminds him of HBO’s show game of thrones. HBO’s Game of Thrones show is famous for politics and backstabbing among kings to get the throne. Alex thinks that most of the leader who is working at the top position will not even admit their own mistake because of their influence on the company. Alex Stamos has worked at Facebook as a chief security officer from the period between 2015 to 2018.

Alex Stamos has had some clashes with Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg, and according to reports by ignoring her, once Alex directly briefed the company about some secret operations performed by Russian intelligence on Facebook. However, experts think this is not the first time when someone used such type of analogy to describe Facebook’s leadership culture. Because earlier in 2018 an anonymous former executive of Facebook describe company culture in the same way and now experts think that person must’ve been Stamos. While continuing his interview, Alex said that most of the issues which the company is facing are because of Mark Zuckerberg’s decisions and he is the root cause of the company’s problems.

Stamos think people can misuse Facebook in many ways and the company needs to find some ways to prevent such type of happenings. Even though there is no verified proof relating to Alex’s saying but it seems like problems for Facebook hasn’t stopped yet.
